Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 20, 2026
1. Who we are
Scan (“the Service”) is wholesale supplier analysis software for Amazon sellers. It is operated by Launch Hub LLC under the LaunchHub Lab product brand (“we”, “us”), and is available at scan.launchhub.us. For any privacy question or request, contact info@launchhub.us.
2. Data we collect
Account data: your name, email address and a password hash (passwords are stored only as scrypt hashes, never in plain text). Sign-in events are recorded with timestamp, IP address and browser identifier for account security.
Data you upload: supplier price lists and related business data (SKUs, costs, quantities, supplier names) that you import to use the Service.
Amazon data: product, pricing, fee, sales-rank and listing-eligibility information retrieved from the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API) under your explicit authorization, solely for your account. The Service does not request or process Amazon customer (buyer) personally identifiable information, and does not request or use Restricted Data Tokens.
Demo requests: if you submit the demo form, we collect the name, email, company and message you provide, plus the requesting IP address for abuse prevention.
3. How we use data
Exclusively to provide the Service: matching your price list rows to Amazon listings, computing profitability, checking listing eligibility for your seller account, and showing you the results. We do not sell, rent or trade your data. We do not use your business data for advertising, and we do not train machine-learning models on your data.
4. Amazon SP-API data
Access to Amazon data happens through the Amazon Selling Partner API, only after you authorize the connection through Amazon's Login with Amazon flow. You can revoke this authorization at any time from Amazon Seller Central, which immediately ends the Service's ability to retrieve new data for your account.
SP-API credentials (client identifiers, secrets and refresh tokens) are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. Plaintext credentials are never written to logs, exports or screens; user interfaces display at most the last four characters. Amazon data retrieved for your account is used and displayed only within your account, in accordance with Amazon's Data Protection Policy and Acceptable Use Policy.
5. Storage and protection
Data is stored on secured cloud infrastructure in the United States. All traffic between your browser and the Service is encrypted with TLS (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed with scrypt; API credentials and tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM using keys held only on the server. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized operators, sign-in attempts are logged and rate-limited, and repeated failed sign-ins lock the account temporarily.
6. Sharing
We do not share your data with third parties, except: (a) infrastructure providers that host the Service (cloud hosting), bound to process data only on our instructions; (b) AI model providers, which receive only the minimum product-matching context (such as product titles and pack counts) needed to verify a match — never your credentials and never Amazon buyer data; and (c) where required by law.
7. Retention and deletion
Your data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by writing to info@launchhub.us; we complete verified deletion requests within 30 days, except where a longer retention period is required by law. Revoking SP-API authorization in Seller Central stops new Amazon data collection immediately, and you may additionally request deletion of previously retrieved Amazon data.
8. Cookies
The Service uses a single first-party session cookie strictly to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
9. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data at any time via info@launchhub.us. If you are in a jurisdiction that grants additional statutory rights (such as the GDPR or CCPA), we honor those rights accordingly.
10. Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes will be announced to account holders by email.
